PADI Specialty Courses
There are large number of different PADI Specialty Courses available at Sunset Divers. We have listed some of our most popular Specialty courses here. Why not take the Master Scuba Diver Challenge by earning your Rescue certification, 5 Specialty courses and 50 dives. Most of the courses below are conducted from shore, with Boat from our dive boats, and Wreck with additional cost.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is our most popular specialty. Diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then this is the course for you.

The Enriched air nitrox course can be completed in the classroom with one of our instructors most afternoons from 1.30pm. The cost is $200 per person. This includes the manual, academics in a classroom setting and your first two tanks of nitrox. There are no actual diving requirements on this course, but rest assured our instructor will also show you how to analyze your tank and set your diving computer to the correct mix.

Or you can choose to complete the academics online through the PADI website. Once you complete the academics online the final exam will be issued by one of our instructors at the resort, with time also spent on showing how to analyze your tank and set your diving computer to the correct mix. To complete the course at the resort after the e-learning is $100 per person.
For visiting dive instructors who wish to train students at Sunset House (whether its referral dives or continuing education.) It’s important to know our policy. All instructors must be in “active” teaching status and we require a copy of professional diving liability insurance with Sunset House / Sunset Divers named on the additionally insured section. Without this training cannot be conducted unless it is by a Sunset Divers Instructor.
