Refresher Course

How long has it been since your last dive?  If you have been out of the water for over 2 years we do require a Refresher Course to be completed before you dive from our shore location or off the dive boats.  There are a couple of options to choose from. 

 

• Visit your local dive shop and sign up with them for a refresher before you travel.

• Complete a Refresher Course with Sunset Divers before you start your diving.

At Sunset House & Sunset Divers we want you to feel safe & confident while diving during your vacation with us.  We therefore offer 3 different options in refreshing your diving skills.  

 

Standard Refresher Course includes an academic review, SCUBA skill circuit in the pool, followed by a shallow guided dive on the house reef.  Ideal for divers that have been out of the water for 2 to 5 years.

ReActivate Half Day Course, as above but divers complete the ReActivate course online before joining one of our Instructors. Suitable for divers that have been out of the water for 5 - 7 years

ReActivate Full Day Course, if it has been a while since your last dive you can complete the ReActivate course online before joining one of our experienced Instructors for a full day of skills and diving.  7+ years out of the water.

These courses are mandatory before diving from shore or on our boats.

If it's been 10+ years since your last dive, it might be best to take the time and get re-certify.  Please follow this link to information on the PADI Open Water Course.

Refresher courses are available most days.  Your dive will be on our beautiful house reef, right in front of the Resort.

ReActivate Half Day Course $175 per person

ReActivate Full Day Course $300 per person
